This is rather daunting never contributed to a blog before, never been in a quilting group challenge before either. Wow!! the risk one takes. Been mulling over lots of ideas, now need to get brave and start sketching it down on paper and material. Going to the beach for 3 weeks so will find some time to be productive only one draw back no sewing machine. Will be well planned. Hope you all have a great Xmas and New Year and have lots of creative juices flowing. See you in the new year.

Its taken me a while to work out how to add a post rather than make a comment!! Still not sure this is going to work. Guess this is the beginning of my learning curve. Started my journal on pieces of paper but have finally bought a book, so now underway.

The images in my head in the middle of the night are taking over. Apparently I'm talking a lot in my sleep (not sure who I'm talking to). This is certainly life changing :-)

Hi everyone - this is a new experience - my first blog. A quick 101 in how to do this would have saved me the stress of how to add a comment. Anyway idea to work with cemented in. Need to stay real focussed - for some unknown reason all these other cool ideas keep me up late a night. Hope I don't have 2 years of sleep deprivation.

Yeah this is the first time I have contributed to a blog & so far everything has gone right!! I think a name for our group would be great however the only word stuck in my mind @ the mo is Whimsical & the many meanings it actually has!I am also looking fwd to seeing our first quilts! My mind has all these fantastic OTT ideas zooming around, however looking @ the 12x12 group quilts again, their ones are a bit more down to earth & more achievable than I had remembered!

Yay we are up and running and the ideas are simmering away for our first challenge! I am really looking forward to seeing the range of interpretations everyone comes up with for Whimsical!
